Wichmann’s entrée into the music business began in 1994 at Epic records with Joe, Joe, Joe Diffie! He went on to join the promotion department at the Sony Music Group of labels. In 2002, Wichmann hit the road for a five-year run as Jim Beam liaison and show emcee for Montgomery Gentry.  Wichmann signed as an artist with Universal South in 2005 and released a comedy album called, "I'll Quit When Willie Quits.”   The move to Average Joes reunites him with fellow Sony alumni, Tony Morreale.
